What Completo is

Completo is a personal budgeting tool. It records financial information that you enter yourself and presents summaries of it.

It is not a bank, a payment service, or a financial adviser. It does not move money, hold funds, or connect to your bank accounts. Nothing in the app is financial, tax, investment or legal advice, and you should not treat it as such.

Your account

You can use the app fully without an account. An account is only needed for cloud sync.

If you create one, you are responsible for keeping your sign-in details secure and for activity that happens under your account. Tell us promptly if you believe it has been accessed without your permission.

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account.

Your data is yours

You keep all rights to the financial information you enter. We claim no ownership of it and do not sell it.

You can export your transactions to CSV at any time, on any plan, and you can delete your account and its server-side data from within the app.

The free plan

The free plan is not a trial and does not expire. It includes three accounts, three budgets and five recurring transactions, together with unlimited manual transactions, bills and subscription tracking, and reports for the current month.

The app lock and biometric unlock are available on every plan and are never restricted.

Pro subscriptions

Completo Pro is an auto-renewing subscription, offered monthly or annually and sold through Google Play. A free trial may be offered on the annual plan.

Payment is taken by Google when you confirm the purchase, and again at the start of each renewal period unless you cancel first. Prices are shown in the app before you buy and may change with notice; a change never applies to a period you have already paid for.

Cancelling and refunds

Once Pro is available, you will be able to cancel at any time through your Google Play account. Cancelling will stop the next renewal; you will keep Pro features until the end of the period you have already paid for.

If a free trial is offered, cancelling before it ends means you are not charged.

Refunds are handled by Google Play under its refund policy. Where you have a statutory right to a refund — including consumer cancellation rights in the UK and EU — that right is unaffected by anything in these terms.

What happens when a subscription ends

This is the part worth reading carefully, because it is stricter on us than most terms of this kind.

If your Pro access ends while you are over a free-plan limit — for example you created eight accounts on Pro and the free plan allows three — nothing is deleted, hidden, locked or made read-only. All eight accounts remain, and remain fully viewable, editable and exportable.

The free-plan limits only prevent creating additional items. Access to data you have already created is never withdrawn, and neither is the app lock. This is enforced in the app's own logic, not merely promised here.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the app for anything unlawful, or to store data you have no right to hold
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems or another person's account
• Interfere with, overload or disrupt the service or its infrastructure
• Reverse engineer, decompile or attempt to extract source code, except where law permits it
• Resell, sublicense or redistribute the app or a Pro subscription

Availability

The app itself works offline and does not depend on us being online. Cloud sync, authentication and account deletion are online services, and we do not guarantee they are uninterrupted or error-free.

We may modify, suspend or discontinue features. If we discontinue something you are paying for, we will give reasonable notice and, where appropriate, a proportionate refund.

Accuracy

The app reports what you enter. It cannot verify that the information is correct, and its summaries, budgets and projections are only as accurate as the records behind them.

You are responsible for your financial decisions. Check anything important against your actual bank statements.

Liability

The app is provided as-is, to the fullest extent the law allows. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of profits, arising from your use of it.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded — including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or $50.

Ending these terms

You may stop using the app at any time by uninstalling it, and delete your account from within it.

We may suspend or end your access if you materially breach these terms, and will tell you why unless prevented by law.

Changes

We may update these terms. If a change materially affects your rights, we will update the date at the top and notify you in the app. Continuing to use Completo after a change means you accept the updated terms.

Governing law and contact

These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Completo operates, without affecting the mandatory consumer protections of the country you live in.
