The short version

The Completo mobile app sets no cookies at all. Cookies are a browser mechanism, and the app isn't a browser — it's a React Native app that stores its data in a local database on your phone and, if you sign in, syncs to our servers directly.

completo.cloud, the website you're reading this on right now, is a browser page, and it does use cookies. That includes this page and the rest of the /app section, which shares the same underlying site as the storefront. What follows describes the website. The app's own analytics are covered separately below, and are described in full in the app's privacy policy.

Cookies set by this website

This site sets one cookie that's always on: it remembers the choice you make in the cookie banner (accept, reject, or your custom preferences), so you aren't asked again on every page. Without it, the banner would reappear on every visit — which is why it's treated as essential and isn't offered as optional.

If Google Analytics is configured for this site, its tag loads on every page but starts with measurement blocked. Nothing is written to your browser from it until you accept Analytics or Marketing in the cookie banner — before that, it can send only aggregated, cookieless signals that Google's Consent Mode allows. Accepting upgrades it to full measurement, which does use cookies, and you can decline or withdraw that at any time.

Vercel Analytics and Speed Insights

This site also uses Vercel Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights to see how many people visit and how fast pages load. Both are designed to work without cookies or any other identifier stored in your browser — they report aggregated counts, not a profile tied to you, and aren't affected by the cookie banner because there's nothing to consent to.

Managing your choice

Change your answer at any time from the cookie banner's Preferences option, or reject non-essential cookies outright with Reject all. If you've already made a choice and want to see the banner again, clear this site's cookies in your browser — with no stored preference, the banner reappears on your next page load.

Every modern browser also lets you block or delete cookies site-by-site in its own settings, independent of anything on this page.

The Completo app itself

None of the above applies inside the app. It has no cookie banner because it has no cookies to ask about.

The app's own product analytics are opt-in and off by default — installing and using the app collects nothing unless you turn analytics on in Settings. If you do, events are processed by PostHog in the European Union, and never include your transaction amounts, payees, balances, account names or note contents. You can turn this off again at any time. See the app's privacy policy for the full detail on what's collected and why.
