Completo has both recurring transactions and bills, and people reasonably ask why. The distinction is whether the money moves on its own.
Recurring transactions: it already happened
Rent leaving by standing order, salary arriving, a subscription charging your card. You do not decide each month; it happens. A recurring rule posts the transaction automatically, including catching up months you were away.
Bills: it needs you
A bill is a reminder that something is due, which you then mark paid. Use it when the payment needs an action from you, or when the amount changes each time.
The 31st problem
If rent leaves on the 31st, most apps clamp it to the 28th in February and then leave it there forever — every following month quietly becomes the 28th. Completo re-anchors instead: the 31st in January, the 28th or 29th in February, and the 31st again in March.
It sounds small. Over a year it is the difference between a schedule that matches your bank and one that has silently drifted three days.
